Job summary

Starboard Boats in Amsterdam is seeking an Operations Specialist to lead our daily canal cruise operations. With 11 boats and a team dedicated to premium guest experiences, you will own the day-to-day operations and keep the service running smoothly.

You will coordinate Hosts, Skippers, and Runners, set clear expectations, ensure boats are clean, safe, stocked and guest-ready, and continuously improve workflows and guest satisfaction for our growing international operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, cruises, tourism, events, or similar environment.
• Guest-focused and service-minded attitude.
• Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and changing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Check planning, weather, staff levels and daily priorities.
• Coordinate Hosts, Skippers and Runners during your shift.
• Set clear expectations for the team.
• Check that every boat is clean, safe, stocked and guest-ready.
• Handle guest concerns and operational changes.
• Improve workflows, service quality and team performance.
