Starboard Boats in Amsterdam is seeking a Harbour Logistics Employee for day shifts at our Houthavens hub. This active, hands-on role keeps our 11 boats prepared, cleaned, and stocked for each sailing day.

Based at the Houthavens location, you will handle fleet prep, inventory, and basic maintenance with training provided. The job is part-time, weekends optional, and offers flexible day shifts with evenings free in return.

Qualifications

• You are organized, handy and love keeping things tidy and efficient.
• You speak English and can work daytime/weekends.
• No specific logistics experience needed; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Fleet preparation and daily cleaning of boats for guests.

Founded in 2018, Starboard Boats is a premium presence on Amsterdam’s beautiful canals. We specialize in private and shared cruises that showcase the city’s stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant culture. With our fleet of 11 well-maintained boats, we create memorable experiences for thousands of guests.

While our Captains and Hosts look after our guests on the water, ourHarbour Logistics Teamis the engine room that makes it all possible. Based at our main hub in the industrial and modernHouthavens, you will ensure our fleet is perfectly prepared, maintained, and stocked for the day ahead.

Tasks

Unlike our city-center crew, you will be based at our Houthavens location, managing the day-to-day setup, cleaning, and preparation of our boats. Your Main Tasks:

• Fleet Preparation:Getting the boats ready in the morning, making sure they are spotlessly clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests.
• Inventory Control:Organizing our Houthavens storage, tracking drink stock, ice, and catering supplies, and loading them onto the boats.
• Basic Maintenance Support:Help our Fleet Manager keep the boats in top-notch technical and visual shape.

Please Note:This is a physical, hands-on role. You will be outdoors by the water, lifting crates, moving equipment, and staying active throughout your shift.
