Damen Naval is seeking an Allround CADMATIC Engineer to develop and optimize integrated ship designs within the CADMATIC environment, focusing on piping systems, equipment, and technical spaces.

You will collaborate with system specialists, safety engineers, maintainability experts and other disciplines to ensure proper interfaces, maintainability, ergonomics and safety, delivering 3D models, drawings and production information.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• At least three years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in shipbuilding, offshore or related maritime environments.
• Hands-on experience with CADMATIC or comparable 2D/3D CAD software for piping systems and technical arrangements.
• Experience designing and integrating piping systems, equipment, and technical spaces with attention to interfaces, accessibility, maintainability, ergonomics and safety.
• Experience working on complex engineering projects, preferably involving advanced vessels.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken); Dutch is an advantage.
• Excellent references; pre-employment security screening is standard.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize 3D designs for piping systems, equipment and technical spaces within CADMATIC, focusing on functionality and safety.
• Translate technical specifications into practical engineering solutions.
• Create basic engineering packages including 3D models, drawings and production information.
• Ensure proper integration of piping systems and equipment with other disciplines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews; identify conflicts and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with system specialists, engineers, procurement, production and other stakeholders to communicate design solutions.
