Xperior Global is seeking a Business Development Manager – System Sales to drive growth in the Netherlands. The role covers identifying opportunities, building strategic account plans, and steering complex solutions from prospecting to close.
You will collaborate with Sales Engineers, Product Managers, and Marketing, represent the company at industry events, and manage multiple OEM and system integrator deals in a hybrid working setup.

They support customers throughout the entire machine development process—from the control system to the drive shaft, from the initial idea to after-sales. Their products are used across industries including automotive, packaging, material handling logistics, and robotics.
The Business Development Manager will proactively identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities into long-term partnerships that drive commercial growth and profitability. The focus is on expanding the customer base, nurturing strategic accounts, and delivering customer-focused solutions that align with the company’s innovation-driven portfolio.
Identify, assess, and prioritize new market opportunities and potential customers, especially within OEM sectors.
Develop and implement account strategies that align with the client’s vision and growth targets.
Create business cases and ROI-driven justifications for investment in new business opportunities.
Conduct market research to monitor trends, competitors, and opportunities for differentiation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at prospective and existing customers.
Understand customer challenges and work cross-functionally to develop tailored solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through the value proposition and supporting them throughout the business development lifecycle.
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and onboarding.
Draft and present proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to customer needs.
Negotiate terms and close contracts in collaboration with internal sales and legal teams.
Work closely with Sales Engineers, Product Managers, and the Marketing Team to develop integrated sales strategies.
Track opportunities and activities in CRM and ERP systems.
Provide regular reports, forecasts, and updates to the Sales Director and wider team.
Lead or support strategic sales-related projects, including customer-specific initiatives and long‑term partnerships.
Collaborate on Go/No-Go assessments for high-impact projects.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
Leverage industry events to build connections and increase brand visibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; strong technical affinity is a plus.
Industry Knowledge
Proven track record in Business Development or Sales within Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical sector.
Experience working with OEMs and system integrators is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies
Knowledge and experience with control systems such as PLCs.
Results-driven with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex solution sales cycles.
Comfortable operating in hybrid environments (remote and in-person).
