Business Controller | Supply Chain & Operations

As the financial business partner to senior operational leadership, you will play a key role in driving performance, creating transparency around operational costs and supporting the continued development of a scalable and future-proof control environment. You will combine hands‑on financial control activities with strategic advisory responsibilities, helping the business make informed decisions in an increasingly complex operational landscape.
What will you do?
In this role, you will act as the financial partner for Supply Chain and Operations and help shape both the financial and operational agenda.
- You are responsible for the planning and control cycle across the supply chain cost base, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and long‑term planning.
- Additionally, you work closely with senior operational stakeholders to provide valuable financial insights and ensure ownership of operational spend.
- You translate financial performance into meaningful business insights and clearly explain the story behind the numbers.
- You build, evaluate and challenge business cases related to operational investments, efficiency initiatives and supply chain improvements.
- Furthermore, you support strategic decision-making by identifying risks, opportunities and financial trade‑offs within the operations function.
- You contribute to the professionalisation of reporting, governance and performance management processes across the organisation.
- You help increase financial awareness within operational teams by making financial information accessible, actionable and relevant.
- Finally, you contribute to the broader Business Control team and actively support initiatives throughout the full planning and control cycle.
Who are you?
To be successful in this position, you bring a strong mix of analytical capabilities, business partnering skills and operational affinity.
- You have at least 7 years of experience within Business Control, FP&A or Financial Analysis.
- Experience within an FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain or operations-driven environment is considered a strong advantage.
- You possess a strategic and analytical mindset and are able to create clarity in complex situations.
- You feel comfortable operating in fast‑growing and rapidly changing environments.
- You are capable of challenging, influencing and advising senior stakeholders across the business.
- You have proven project management skills and can successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- You have advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and reporting tools.
- You hold a relevant academic degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
- You communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels and possess strong English communication skills.
- Experience with Supply Chain Controlling is highly desirable.
