Job description

As our Supply Chain Controller, you’ll join a fast-paced environment where supply chain complexity meets rapid decision-making. As a key business partner to our COO and Operations leadership, you’ll own the core controlling cycles — from forecasting and budgeting to reporting — while playing a leading role in shaping the strategic direction of our operations cost base.

You’ll bring structure where processes are still evolving, introduce governance and control mechanisms that support — rather than slow down — the business, and ensure financial decisions keep pace with growth. Your focus will go beyond tracking costs: you’ll challenge assumptions, evaluate trade-offs, and help operational leaders make smarter, data-driven decisions.

Whether we’re introducing new logistics setups, expanding production, or onboarding new suppliers, you’ll ensure that the financial perspective is embedded in key operational decisions. In your first months, you’ll focus on gaining a strong understanding of our global cost drivers and delivering insights that improve performance. Over time, you’ll help build a professional, forward-looking operations control environment and become a key partner in driving sustainable growth.

The real challenge in this role lies in navigating ambiguity, connecting financial insights to operational reality, and influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. You’ll translate complexity into clear decision frameworks, build scalable reporting and planning structures, and bring financial clarity to an area of the business that is constantly evolving.

Your responsibilities

  • Own and run a fit-for-purpose planning and control cycle for supply chain spend, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Partner closely with the COO and Head of Operations to provide financial insights and ensure P&L owners have a clear understanding and control of their spend.
  • Translate financial results into meaningful insights by telling the story behind the numbers and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
  • Build, challenge, and evaluate business cases for operational improvements, investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyse cost drivers across the supply chain and identify opportunities for efficiency and optimisation.Develop and improve reporting, planning, and control processes to support a growing and increasingly complex organisation.
  • Support the broader Business Control team across the full planning and control cycle, contributing wherever your expertise can add value.
  • Increase financial awareness across operational teams by making finance accessible, actionable, and relevant to day-to-day decision-making.

What you bring

  • 7+ years of experience in business control, FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role.
  • Experience in supply chain controlling, operations finance, or FMCG is a strong plus.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex situations.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly and decisions need to be made with incomplete information.
  • Strong business acumen and the confidence to challenge assumptions, influence stakeholders, and support senior leaders.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities while driving initiatives through to completion.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and reporting tools.
  • A relevant academic degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial topics clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A hands-on, pragmatic approach: you’re comfortable building structure from scratch and improving things as you go.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
