Overview

As Business Control team we provide strategic financial advice on current and future performance and support senior management in steering the business to achieve our long-term strategy. Responsibilities

• In this role you will work closely with all the members of a team of 10 reporting to the Director Business Control. You will be responsible for preparing insightful monthly updates for both revenues and costs under the supervision of Senior Business Controllers and assist, including modelling and slide preparations, in periodic forecasts and multi-year budgeting. You will also support the team in specific (ad hoc) projects and business cases. Your focus in the job will be on:
• Preparing monthly reporting for Executive Committee;
• Preparing modelling and supporting presentations for yearly budgetting, forecasting and multi-year strategic & financial business plan;
• Challenging your colleagues in Business Control – bring a fresh perspective
• Ad-hoc financial and strategic analysis

Required qualifications

• A smart and eager professional with an academic background, preferably with a University degree in Finance, (Business) Economics or related;
• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience, preferably in a Business Control role;
• Used to a data driven environment with experience in Excel, Data warehouse and business intelligence tools;
• Analytical, curious, eager, result driven and well-organized;
• A strong personality, team-player and with a to-do mentality
