Job summary

Ohpen, a cloud-native fintech company in Amsterdam, seeks a Business Analyst who understands the Dutch consumer lending market and loves connecting business needs with technology. You will help clients modernize lending operations using our cloud-based Lending Platform.

You’ll collaborate with prospective and existing clients across the Netherlands, lead workshops, and work with Product, Engineering and Configuration teams to shape practical solutions. Travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• You are a strong communicator who explains complex topics clearly.
• You have 3+ years as a Business Analyst or similar client-facing role.
• You are comfortable discussing APIs, integrations and IT architecture.

We are looking for aBusiness Analyst who understands theDutch consumer lending market and enjoys connecting business needs with technology.

AtOhpen, a cloud-native fintech company, you’ll help prospective and existing clients modernize their lending operations using ourcloud-based Lending Platform.

You’ll combine yourlending domain knowledge, technical understanding and communication skills to explore client challenges, demonstrate our platform and help shape solutions that make a real difference.

Briefing

As a Business Analyst, you’ll work closely withprospective and existing clients across the Netherlands, understanding their lending products, business processes, technology landscape and challenges.

You’ll help clients discover how theOhpen Lending Platform can support their business, whether that means moving away from legacy systems, configuring our existing solution or exploring new possibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadingclient workshops, deep dives and platform demonstrations, translating complex business requirements into clear and practical solutions.
• Understanding clients'lending products, processes and IT architecture to identify how our platform can best support their needs.
• SupportingRFI and RFP processes, preparing detailed responses and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Working closely with ourProduct, Engineering and Configuration Implementation teams to explore technical possibilities and shape solutions.
• Identifying opportunities toimprove and extend our platform based on client needs and market developments.
• Acting as abridge between business and technology, helping clients understand what is possible and how to achieve their goals.

About You

• You have a solid understanding of theDutch consumer lending market, including its products, processes and challenges. Experience delivering lending-related projects is a strong advantage.
• You have at least3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar client-facing role within a B2B environment.
• You are astrong communicator and confident presenter. You enjoy leading workshops, engaging with clients and explaining complex topics in a clear and structured way.
• You have atechnical mindset. You don't need to be a developer, but you are comfortable discussingAPIs, system integrations and IT architecture.
• You areanalytical and solution-oriented. You enjoy understanding complex problems, asking the right questions and finding practical solutions.
• You areadaptable and proactive. You take ownership of your work and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
• You enjoyworking with different stakeholders, from business representatives to engineers and product teams.
• You are comfortabletravelling to clients across the Netherlands and regularly meeting your colleagues at ourAmsterdam office.
