Job summary

Ohpen is seeking a Business Analyst for the Dutch consumer lending market to connect business needs with our cloud-native Lending Platform. You’ll work with prospective and existing clients across the Netherlands, understanding lending products, processes and technology landscapes, and help shape solutions that modernize lending operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar client-facing role in a B2B environment.
• Solid understanding of the Dutch consumer lending market, products, processes and challenges.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to lead workshops and explain complex topics clearly.
• Comfort discussing APIs, system integrations and IT architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead client workshops, deep dives and platform demonstrations, translating requirements into practical solutions.
• Understand clients' lending products, processes and IT architecture to align Ohpen's platform accordingly.
• Support RFI/RFP processes with detailed responses and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

We are looking for a Business Analyst - Consumer Lending who understands the Dutch consumer lending market and enjoys connecting business needs with technology.

At Ohpen, a cloud-native fintech company, you’ll help prospective and existing clients modernize their lending operations using our cloud-based Lending Platform.

You’ll combine your lending domain knowledge, technical understanding and communication skills to explore client challenges, demonstrate our platform and help shape solutions that make a real difference.

Briefing

As a Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with prospective and existing clients across the Netherlands, understanding their lending products, business processes, technology landscape and challenges.

You’ll help clients discover how the Ohpen Lending Platform can support their business, whether that means moving away from legacy systems, configuring our existing solution or exploring new possibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading client workshops, deep dives and platform demonstrations, translating complex business requirements into clear and practical solutions.
• Understanding clients' lending products, processes and IT architecture to identify how our platform can best support their needs.
• Supporting RFI and RFP processes, preparing detailed responses and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Working closely with our Product, Engineering and Configuration Implementation teams to explore technical possibilities and shape solutions.
• Identifying opportunities to improve and extend our platform based on client needs and market developments.
• Acting as a bridge between business and technology, helping clients understand what is possible and how to achieve their goals.

About You

• You have a solid understanding of the Dutch consumer lending market, including its products, processes and challenges. Experience delivering lending-related projects is a strong advantage.
• You have at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar client-facing role within a B2B environment.
• You are a strong communicator and confident presenter. You enjoy leading workshops, engaging with clients and explaining complex topics in a clear and structured way.
• You have a technical mindset. You don't need to be a developer, but you are comfortable discussing APIs, system integrations and IT architecture.
• You are analytical and solution-oriented. You enjoy understanding complex problems, asking the right questions and finding practical solutions.
• You are adaptable and proactive. You take ownership of your work and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
• You enjoy working with different stakeholders, from business representatives to engineers and product teams.
• You are comfortable travelling to clients across the Netherlands and regularly meeting your colleagues at our Amsterdam office.
