Job summary

Ruby is seeking enthusiastic hospitality staff for its Rotterdam property. The role focuses on front desk duties, guest welcome, and delivering Lean Luxury experiences in a lively, design-forward environment.

You’ll help guests from check-in to check-out, craft cocktails, assist with breakfast, and share local tips in a fast-paced, team-driven setting. Fluent Dutch and English are required, and applicants should be flexible for shifts.

Qualifications

• Ideally gained some experience in the hotel industry.
• Flexible and ready to work in shifts.
• Count on reliability, multitasking and willingness to learn.
• Empathetic with others and team‑oriented.
• Great sense of humour and enjoy interacting with guests.
• Fluent Dutch and English are required.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for guests and help them feel at home from arrival to departure.
• Support guests with self-check-in and assist with front desk duties.
• Prepare cocktails, drinks, and snacks with skillful moves to ensure smooth service.
• Look after breakfast service and demonstrate barista skills for guest satisfaction.
• Handle goods receiving, inspection, and storage, maintaining mise-en-place according to standards.
• Share insider tips to guide guests to city hotspots.
