Job summary

ibis Amsterdam City West is seeking a Breakfast Employee to be the morning face of the hotel, greeting guests warmly and delivering the breakfast experience. This role requires availability for early shifts starting around 05:30 or 06:00 AM, and offers a friendly, team-oriented environment within a global Accor network.

Responsibilities include setting up the breakfast area, serving guests, maintaining buffet standards, collaborating with service and kitchen teams, and supporting back-of-house

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
• Positive, proactive, and guest-focused attitude.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willing to work early mornings at 5:30!
• Ability to handle both guest-facing and back-of-house tasks.

• Serve food and beverages according to company standards.
• Keep the buffet clean, stocked, and well-presented.
• Clear and clean tables to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Perform stewarding tasks such as washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in the back of house.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries and orders following organisational procedures.
• Collaborate with the service and kitchen teams.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling guidelines.

You will be the first point of contact for our guests in the morning, ensuring they start their day with a warm welcome and a great breakfast experience.
