Job summary

ibis Amsterdam City West is seeking a Breakfast Employee to warmly greet guests and ensure an excellent breakfast experience. The role requires availability for early morning shifts, with start times at 05:30 or 06:00 AM, in Amsterdam.

You will set up the breakfast area, serve food and beverages, and work closely with service and kitchen teams to maintain standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is a plus but not required
• Positive, proactive, and guest‑focused attitude
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
• Willing to work early mornings at 5:30!
• Ability to handle both guest-facing and back-of-house tasks

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the breakfast area before service
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Serve food and beverages according to company standards
• Keep the buffet clean, stocked, and well‑presented
• Clear and clean tables to maintain a tidy dining area
• Perform stewarding tasks such as washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in the back of house
• Receive, check, and store deliveries and orders following organisational procedures
• Collaborate with the service and kitchen teams
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling guidelines
