Job summary

ibis Amsterdam City West is seeking an enthusiastic Breakfast Employee to join our morning team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a great breakfast experience. Early shifts start at 5:30 and you will work alongside service and kitchen teams to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
• Positive, proactive, and guest-focused attitude.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willing to work early mornings at 5:30.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the breakfast area before service.
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Serve food and beverages according to company standards.
• Keep the buffet clean, stocked, and well-presented.
• Clear and clean tables to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Perform stewarding tasks such as washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries and orders following procedures.
• Collaborate with service and kitchen teams.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling guidelines.
