Job summary

ibis Amsterdam City West zoekt een flexibele medewerker voor de avonduren in bar en restaurant. Je bedient gasten in bar, restaurant en op het terras, schenkt drankjes en serveert gerechten, en sluit de nacht af met afwaswerk.

Je werkt parttime in de avonden met internationale gasten; Engels is vereist naast Nederlands. Eerdere horeca-ervaring is een plus, maar geen vereiste. Het hotel biedt uitstekende arbeidsvoorwaarden en een plezierige teamomgeving.

Responsibilities

• Bedienen van gasten in bar, restaurant en op het terras.

Do you like to start your day at a relaxed pace, and are you looking for a fun part-time job in the evening? As our new Food & Beverage Service/bar Employee, you'll be ready to hit the ground running from 4:00 PM! Do you know how to excite guests in your own unique way, and do you enjoy interacting with both national and international guests? Then we have a fantastic position available for you in Food & Beverage!

The Position

We are looking for a flexible, all-round service team member to strengthen our team during the evening hours. No two days are the same in our 180-room hotel!

You will be responsible for serving our guests in the bar, restaurant, and on our terrace. You’ll pour drinks and serve dishes to ensure our guests have an unforgettable evening. At the end of the night, taking care of the dishwashing together with your colleagues is also part of the job. Our hotel falls into the "medium-sized" category, which means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to work independently while also learning a lot along the way!

Who are we looking for?

For our F&B team, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join us part-time in the evenings in the bar and restaurant! Already have experience behind the bar or in waiting tables? That’s great! Looking to broaden your knowledge and learn the tricks of the trade in a dynamic work environment instead? We’d be more than happy to teach you. As we welcome many international guests for dinner and drinks, it is important that you speak English in addition to Dutch. (Bonus points if you also speak Spanish or French!)
