Job summary

Savile Lloyd is seeking a BIM Lead to join a data centre project in Amsterdam. You will lead day-to-day BIM coordination across design, construction, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with BEP, ISO 19650, and client requirements.

The role requires 5-8 years’ BIM coordination experience, advanced Revit and Navisworks skills, and strong leadership to mentor BIM coordinators and modellers. You will manage federated models, support 4D/5D workflows, and ensure data integrity for handover.

Qualifications

• A degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5–8 years' experience in BIM coordination and project delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms, with demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and construction-phase BIM processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, mentoring BIM personnel, and engaging effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery and coordination of BIM processes throughout the construction phase, ensuring compliance with BEP and client requirements.
• Coordinate and manage federated models by integrating inputs from design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Facilitate clash detection and resolution using Navisworks and Solibri, supporting regular coordination meetings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BIM Coordinators, BIM Modellers, and project teams.
• Monitor model quality through reviews and audits, ensuring data integrity and adherence to naming conventions and LOIN requirements.
• Support integration of BIM models with 4D and 5D workflows to aid sequencing, logistics, and progress reporting.
