Zusammenfassung

BYD Benelux is seeking an Auto Finance Manager to support BYD’s finance and leasing activities in a European market. You will develop, coordinate and implement local retail, captive leasing and other finance solutions in close cooperation with internal teams and external partners.

Strong financial acumen and experience in auto finance/leasing are essential. The role requires stakeholder management, cross-border coordination, and travel within the region.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in auto finance, preferably captive finance, leasing or banks.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships with external partners.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch or another European language is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in auto finance/leasing.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple projects.

Aufgaben

• Develop and roll out finance programs with local teams (sales, aftersales, legal).
• Design and manage retail and business finance products (leasing, loans, balloon) to support targets.
• Partner with banks and leasing companies to optimize offers, pricing and customer experience.
• Track portfolio performance and report insights to management (penetration, margin, risk).
• Establish and manage relationships with banks, lenders and other financial partners to secure funding lines.
• Negotiate wholesale credit facilities to support dealer network development and expansion.
• Optimize floorplan financing structures to align dealer stock with market demand.
• Conduct financial health assessments for franchise/dealer partners and provide risk-based recommendations.
• Monitor local market trends, regulatory developments in auto finance/leasing for strategic decisions.
• Coordinate with BYD Group finance and legal on cross-border agreements; prepare strategic reports.
