Job summary

Ampowr BV is seeking a Sales Engineer to bridge our BESS and EMS technology with client needs in the energy storage sector. You will translate requirements into compelling proposals, assist in budgeting, and craft tailored quotations that align with standard configurations and templates.

You will build business cases demonstrating ROI and payback, collaborate with the solution engineering team, and stay ahead of market trends to keep proposals competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a technical or technical-commercial role in energy/storage is preferred.
• Understanding of electrical systems and battery storage is desirable.
• Interest in commercial aspects (ROI, payback, market positioning) is a plus.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical requirements and evaluate fit with Ampowr's BESS and EMS solutions.
• Translate customer needs into clear solution proposals for Sales and clients.
• Build project budgets and collaborate with other departments.
• Create tailored quotations for BESS + EMS projects using standard configurations.
• Develop business cases (ROI, payback, revenue stacking) for proposed solutions.
• Assess technical feasibility with solution engineering before customer presentation.
• Monitor energy storage market and competitor offerings to keep proposals competitive.
• Maintain and improve quotation and proposal documentation.
• Support the Sales team during the deal cycle with technical input.
