Job summary

Dustin in Leiden is hiring a Software Engineer Backend to design, develop, and modernize scalable backend services powering its product data platform. You will work with PHP and Symfony, leverage AWS and cloud-native tech, and help onboard AI-assisted development practices.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Operations, and Product Management across European markets to deliver reliable, high-performance data processing and supplier integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with PHP/Symfony backend development.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modernize, and operate backend systems powering Dustin's product import platform across European markets.
• Build supplier integrations to enable onboarding, enrichment, and publication of product data.
• Improve platform reliability and performance with automated testing, CI/CD, IaC, and AI-assisted development practices.
