Job summary

Built Different in Utrecht is scaling its climate-tech data capabilities. You will own the Azure data platform that ingests hardware telemetry and powers sales, support and ops with real-time and batch analytics.

You'll design lakehouse, governance, and scalable pipelines using Databricks, Event Hubs, and Synapse, mentor the team, and lay the groundwork for AI-driven analytics from day one. Dutch fluency is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting Azure data platforms serving multiple domains.
• Proven ability to design scalable pipelines and governance.
• Fluent in Dutch and able to communicate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Azure data platform connecting telemetry to sales, support and ops
• Build real-time and batch pipelines on Event Hubs and Databricks
• Design storage, lakehouse and governance layers
• Lay the groundwork for AI-driven analytics from day one
• Set standards for data governance and mentor the team
