Job summary

Olivi.Growth is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in the Utrecht area. You will own the full data pipeline from ingestion to dashboards, with daily exposure to Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Power BI.

The role requires hands-on work in a compact in-house tech team where your work has direct business impact. You will work closely with data analysts and reporting specialists, ensuring data quality and governance while shaping scalable data architecture for future growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Strong Azure expertise with an architecture mindset.
• Experience with ELT pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Python for data processing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as data platform architect and anticipate impact across pipelines, storage and reporting layers.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT using Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes for analytics needs.
• Integrate data from diverse sources into a clean, reliable data platform.
• Transform raw data into analytics-ready formats.
• Collaborate with analysts and Power BI users to ensure data is accurate and timely.
• Own data quality and governance; monitor and address issues.
• Guide architectural decisions for scalable platform evolution.
• Troubleshoot data issues end-to-end until resolved.
