Job summary

Salento is seeking a Platform Engineer specialized in AWS to build and manage a central AWS landing zone for scalable workloads. You will centralize networking, enforce security standards, and automate infrastructure with Terraform.

Join a role focusing on VPC design, Transit Gateway, and Security Hub, with a hybrid Rotterdam-based work setup and a strong emphasis on standardization across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum HBO/WO degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience with AWS networking and security.
• Experience with Terraform as IaC.
• Familiarity with AWS VPCs and Transit Gateway.
• Agile/Scrum experience and ability to work with central platform guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the central AWS landing zone.
• Set up and optimize centralized network architecture (VPCs, Transit Gateway).
• Implement AWS Organizations and SCPs; automate with Terraform.
• Set up AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub) and ensure standardization.
• Migrate teams and workloads to the landing zone in collaboration with Scrum teams.
