Job summary

Schuberg Philis is seeking an AWS Platform Engineer who enjoys building and improving platform capabilities that empower development teams. You’ll own and operate platform services, focusing on reliability, security, and scalability.

You’ll collaborate with engineering teams, implement IaC with Terraform, manage Kubernetes-based workloads, and contribute to monitoring, backup, and observability. A strong service mindset and pragmatic problem solving are essential.

We are looking for an AWS Platform Engineer who enjoys building and improving platform capabilities, enabling development teams, and taking responsibility for the systems they create and operate.

What will you do

• Enable and support development teams on the platform.
• Contribute to building platform capabilities.
• Work with reusable components such as monitoring, backup, and observability.
• Contribute during the assessment phase and transition into implementation.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for engineers who combine deep technical expertise with a strong service-oriented mindset.

Ideally, you have:

• A strong engineering background in AWS cloud environments.
• A T-shaped skill profile: deep expertise in your core domain combined with broad knowledge across infrastructure, platforms, and operations.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container platforms
• A strong DevOps mindset focused on empowering and enabling development teams.
