Job summary

Lepaya in Amsterdam is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain our cloud platform, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability while empowering product teams to deliver new features quickly. You will work with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes, focusing on automation, monitoring, and developer experience, collaborating across software, data, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience using Terraform.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker and cloud-native services (ECS, Lambda, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and infra best practices.
• Bash or Python scripting; TypeScript is a plus.
• Proactive mindset with automation and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve AWS infrastructure using Terraform and IaC practices.
• Enhance CI/CD platform with reusable workflows and self-hosted runners.
• Develop infrastructure modules to simplify deploying new services.
• Improve monitoring and observability with Grafana/OpenTelemetry.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve developer experience.
