Job summary

SDG Group Netherlands – an ALTEN company is seeking a Cloud Architect to strengthen data engineering capabilities across our offices in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Eindhoven. You will define scalable, secure end-to-end cloud solutions and advise business stakeholders and delivery teams on architecture.

Requirements include a bachelor’s or master’s in a relevant field, 4–5 years in a similar role, fluent English (Dutch a bonus), and hands-on experience with Azure/AWS/GCP, Terraform, Bicep, Docker

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• 4–5 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP considered a plus.
• IaC: Terraform, Bicep; Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architectures based on requirements.
• Translate requirements into robust technical designs.
• Document and maintain architecture deliverables.
• Guide development teams and ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with enterprise and domain architects for coherence.
• Ensure quality, security, scalability, and performance.
• Identify architectural risks and provide expert guidance.
• Stay updated with technology trends and improvements.
