Job summary

Brink Group in Staphorst, the Netherlands, is seeking an Automotive Quality Engineer who ensures products and processes meet customer requirements, regulatory standards and automotive quality demands. You will drive quality activities from development through production, using IATF 16949, VDA and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans) to translate customer needs into robust processes.

You will be part of our QHSE team and collaborate with Engineering, Production, Logistics, Sales

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automotive/Mechanical or equivalent).
Knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality standards.
Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA and SPC.
Strong 8D, root-cause analysis and corrective action experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, VDA, customer and internal quality standards.
Lead quality activities in new product and process development and obtain customer approvals.
Provide quality input during planning, design reviews, and gate reviews.
Participate in DFM/DFMEA and ensure risk controls are in place.
Develop and review Control Plans, inspection requirements, MSA and SPC activities.
Act as primary quality contact for customers during projects and audits.
Lead 8D problem solving and verify effectiveness of actions.
Monitor complaints and quality trends, drive preventive actions.
