Job summary

Adient in the Netherlands is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements across manufacturing operations and support customer satisfaction.

You will lead PPAP submissions, manage RCAs with 8D, develop control plans and PFMEAs, perform SPC/MSA/Gage R&R, and ensure compliance with ISO/TS standards. Automotive seating focus with high-volume production. Relocation not mentioned; onsite role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (candidates may still be pursuing their degree) or equivalent experience.
• ISO/TS 16949, Continuous Improvement, Total Quality Management, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, DOE, and SPC are required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints (including GD&T) and to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong knowledge of SPC techniques and applications, including DOE and MSA.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in quality metrics (RTY, PPM, Warranty, Craftsmanship).
• Prepare and submit PPAP packages.
• Lead customer and supplier quality issue resolution using 8D and root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans, Inspection Plans, and PFMEAs.
• Perform Gage R&R, MSA, SPC, and capability studies.
• Support product launches and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for quality-related concerns.
