Job summary

Flex is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer based in the Netherlands to analyze, monitor and improve supplier quality performance. You will drive APQP/PPAP with suppliers from product development to SOP and support the engineering teams with DFM input.

The role requires experience with IATF16949, VDA 6.3 auditing, and strong problem solving (8D/DOE). You will lead improvement programs for underperforming suppliers and travel up to 20% internationally.

Qualifications

• IATF 16949 knowledge and experience required.
• Auditing experience in the automotive industry (min 3 years).
• Dutch or English fluency.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Team player with good communication and solution focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP/PPAP with suppliers from development to SOP.
• Design and maintain procedures per IATF 16949 and report supplier quality.
• Lead audits using VDA 6.3 at supplier sites.
• Drive improvement programs for underperforming suppliers.
• Support engineering during design reviews and DFM input.
