Job summary

Alium is seeking an experienced Associate Partner – Agentic AI to build and grow a premier Data & AI consulting practice in the Netherlands. The role blends deep tech understanding of Agentic AI with a sales-led mindset to win business and deliver complex engagements.

The successful candidate will partner with C-level clients, translate strategy into practical implementations, and shape propositions around AI agents and enterprise AI transformation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in AI, Data & AI consulting, digital transformation or technology consulting.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI.
• Experience in client-facing consulting, advisory or business development roles.
• Ability to combine technical credibility with commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of the Agentic AI consulting offering across the Netherlands.
• Act as trusted advisor to C-level and senior stakeholders.
• Identify, shape and win new AI consulting opportunities.
• Lead customer engagements from strategy through execution.

We are looking for an experienced Associate Partner – Agentic AI to help build and grow a leading Data & AI consulting practice in the Netherlands.

This is a senior, commercially minded role for someone who combines strong technical understanding of Agentic AI with the ability to win business, develop senior client relationships and lead complex AI engagements.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted thought partner to clients, helping organisations understand where Agentic AI can create tangible business value and then translating that strategy into practical implementation.

• Advise clients on Agentic AI architectures, platforms, tools and implementation approaches.
• Build relationships with technology partners and the wider AI ecosystem.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, data specialists and programme managers to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop propositions around AI agents, autonomous workflows, AI orchestration and enterprise AI transformation.
• Help clients determine where AI can genuinely improve productivity, operations and decision‑making.
• Contribute to the development of the wider Data & AI practice.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience within AI, Data & AI consulting, digital transformation or technology consulting.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI.
• Previous experience in a client-facing consulting, advisory or business development role.
• Ability to combine technical credibility with commercial/business acumen.
• Experience taking AI propositions from strategy through to implementation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise AI platforms and ecosystems, particularly technologies such as Microsoft Azure/Azure AI, AWS Bedrock and Google Vertex AI.
• Experience working with complex enterprise customers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrable experience of winning or expanding consulting engagements.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and technical levels.

Fluent Dutch is required for this position, with a minimum proficiency level of C1.
