Job summary

Arvato in Venlo, Netherlands, seeks an Assistant Supervisor to co-manage the daily warehouse operation. You’ll lead a team of 20–30 colleagues, ensure clear daily goals, and report to the Supervisor.

You’ll drive coaching, workforce planning, monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and push continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, structured working environment. The position requires an MBO level education and at least one year in a logistics leadership role.

Qualifications

• MBO level education or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role within logistics.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems and Excel is a plus.
• Strong coordination skills and the ability to maintain overview.
• Ambition to grow and take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily warehouse activities on the floor.
• Coaching, guiding and motivating team members and line leads.
• Creating daily workforce planning based on volumes and staffing.
• Monitoring KPIs such as productivity and quality.
• Identifying bottlenecks and taking action when needed.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
