Job summary

McCain Appetizers Europe B.V. Kruiningen is seeking an Assistant Teamleader Production to support daily production operations, lead a team of approximately 15 operators, and ensure targets, quality, and safety standards are met.

You will act as deputy for the Teamleader during absences and help drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The role combines hands-on production involvement with leadership and coordination responsibilities, offering opportunities for leadership growth and

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• HACCP certification or training, or willingness to obtain.
• Safety training such as Safety Induction.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to monitor progress and coordinate team activities.
• Leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good command of Dutch or English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily production activities across lines.
• Allocate work and ensure completion according to plan.
• Contribute to production processes as needed.
• Be the first point of contact for production employees on shift.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members.
• Monitor HACCP, food safety, quality, and workplace standards.
• Promote safety culture and adherence to procedures.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate with Technical Services when needed.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and cross-team communication.
• Act as deputy for Teamleader Production during absences.
