McCain Appetizers Europe B.V. Kruiningen is seeking an Assistant Teamleader Production to support daily production operations, lead a team of approximately 15 operators, and ensure targets, quality, and safety standards are met.

As Assistant Teamleader Production, you play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations. You support the Teamleader Production in the daily coordination of production activities, help lead production employees, and ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. This role combines hands-on operational involvement with leadership and coordination responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Doing.

• Coordinate and support daily production activities across production lines.
• Allocate work and ensure activities are completed according to plan.
• Work actively within the production process when required.
• Act as the first point of contact for production employees during the shift.
• Coach, motivate, train, and support team members in their development.
• Monitor compliance with HACCP, food safety, quality, and workplace standards.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Resolve routine operational issues and collaborate with Technical Services when escalation is required.
• Ensure effective shift handovers and communication between teams.
• Act as deputy for the Teamleader Production during periods of absence.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful.

• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
• HACCP certification and/or training, or willingness to obtain required qualifications.
• Relevant safety training, such as Safety Induction.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to monitor progress and coordinate team activities effectively.
• Leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and analytical ability.
• Good command of Dutch or English, both spoken and written.

About The Team.

You will be part of the Production team at McCain Appetizers Europe B.V. in Kruiningen. In this role, you work closely with the Teamleader Production, Assistant Teamleader Packing, Quality Control, and Technical Services teams. You provide functional and operational leadership to approximately 15 production operators and employees, helping create a safe, productive, and engaged working environment.

Employment conditions

• A salary starting at €3.588,39,- up to €4.026,72,- max including 17% shift allowance, depending on work experience.
• 25 holidays and 15 ADV days per year (option to sell your ADV days in exchange for higher monthly salary)
• Holiday allowance 8%
• End-of-year Bonus of 3%
• Commuting allowance of €0.23 per km with a max 100 km per day (two way).
