Job summary

McCain Foods Holland B.V. in Kruiningen is seeking a Packaging Operator to run and quality-check packaging on multiple lines.

You’ll join a team of 4 operators plus a Head Operator, coordinate with shifts, and take responsibility for 2 packaging lines per shift on a 3-shift schedule (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM / 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM). You’ll work with the latest machines, aren’t afraid of operating a robot, and you’ll ensure products meet quality standards for delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with operating modern packaging lines and robotics is a plus.
• Team player with ability to coordinate on a shift with peers and a Head Operator.
• Attention to detail and ability to work neatly to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Start with a handover from the previous shift and discuss order planning with management.
• Coordinate with colleagues to decide which lines to work on today and ensure smooth packaging processes.
• Perform hourly quality checks to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Work across 3 shifts (6:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00) and manage two packaging lines per shift.

McCain Appetizers Europe is an emerging major player in the appetizer industry. These are based on fresh vegetables. In Kruiningen we produce mainly only onion rings. That might not mean much to you now, but are you curious to find out what these are and want to be part of a fantastic process? You’ll witness a fresh raw ingredient transform into a beautiful and incredibly tasty final product.

What will you do?

You start with a handover from the previous shift, then discuss the order planning with the management. There are 3 production lines and 8 packaging lines running, and you’ll coordinate with your colleagues to decide which lines you’ll be working on today. You’re responsible for ensuring the packaging process runs as smoothly as possible and for performing hourly quality checks. You’ll work in 3 shifts, 8 hours per day. The working hours are: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM / 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

You enjoy working with the latest machines and don’t shy away from operating a robot. You're a team player, working with 4 fellow operators and a Head Operator on a shift, and together you ensure that the targets are achieved. At the same time, you can work independently — you’re responsible for 2 packaging lines per shift. We expect you to work neatly and precisely, taking care of our beautiful products, which must meet all quality standards upon delivery. If you already have experience, that’s a great plus.
