Job summary

Arvato in the Netherlands is seeking an Assistant Supervisor in Heijen to help run the daily warehouse operation. You will work in an international logistics environment where technology, structure, teamwork and continuous improvement are key.

You will lead 20–30 warehouse staff, build daily workforce plans, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements while ensuring safety and efficiency. A hands-on leader with 1 year in logistics is preferred, with WMS/ERP and Excel familiarity.

• MBO level education or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in logistics.

YOUR ROLE

As an Assistant Supervisor, you are co-responsible for the daily warehouse operation. You ensure processes run smoothly and that your team clearly understands the daily goals and priorities.

You will manage a team of 20 to 30 warehouse employees, including pickers, packers and line leads, and report directly to the Supervisor.

Your responsibilities include:

Coordinating daily warehouse activities on the floor

Coaching, guiding and motivating team members and line leads

Creating daily workforce planning based on volumes and staffing

Monitoring KPIs such as productivity and quality

Identifying bottlenecks and taking action when needed

Contributing to continuous improvement of warehouse processes

Ensuring a safe, structured and efficient working environment

YOUR PROFILE

MBO level of education or equivalent

Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role within logistics
