Job summary

Octagon Professionals supports the European Space Agency at ESTEC in Noordwijk, seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join the projects team. You will provide support to the Business Unit and Controlling Office, handling procurement actions, contracts, and reporting as part of ESA's corporate processes.

The role requires solid experience in financial controlling, procurement, and contract management, with proficiency in SAP (ESA-P), MS Excel, and ERP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, procurement and contract management.
• Proficient in English, additional ESA language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and monitor procurement actions, purchase orders, and contracts (including CCNs).
• Manage procurement and financial processes in ESA’s SAP system (esa-p), ITPM, Excel, and other tools.
• Monitor costs, payments, contract changes, deviations and trends for assigned contracts.
• Prepare and review management reports related to financial and contractual matters.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of data in IT PMO tools for reporting.
