Job summary

Leonardo Hotels Benelux is seeking an Assistant F&B Manager for Chef’s! Food & Drinks IJmuiden. You will report to the F&B Manager and lead the team to ensure smooth operations during service, events and meetings across our 14 function rooms.

You will review schedules, place orders, create rosters and train colleagues, while maintaining a proactive attitude and focus on guest experience. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Supervisor or Shift Leader level within the F&B department of a hotel.
• Energetic and enthusiastic, able to motivate a team.
• Proactive with ideas to further enhance the guest experience.
• Flexible with availability; hours will be discussed.
• Own transport required as IJmuiden is not easily reached by public transport.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

About The Job

Ready for the next step in F&B? To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Assistant F&B Manager who will report to our F&B Manager and become part of an enthusiastic team. On the floor, you and your team ensure that everything runs smoothly in Chef’s! Food & Drinks, as well as during events, dinners and/or meetings held in one of our 14 function rooms. You will lead the team and make sure they have everything they need to perform at their best. Inspiring, motivating and training your colleagues is, of course, also part of the role. When guests are present, you and your colleagues work together to create a unique and enjoyable experience for every guest. During quieter moments, you will review schedules, place orders, create staff rosters, and hold discussions with the team, our F&B Manager and other departments. As a role model within the hotel, you have a proactive and hands‑on attitude.

Job Requirements

• You are currently working at Supervisor or Shift Leader level within the F&B department of a hotel.
• You are energetic and enthusiastic, enjoy motivating a team, and know how to bring out the best in your colleagues.
• You are proactive and come up with ideas and suggestions to further enhance the guest experience.
• In addition, you are flexible with your availability; together, we will discuss your working hours.
• You have your own means of transportation, as IJmuiden is difficult to reach by public transport.
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English.

To be considered for this role, applicants must be an EU citizen or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
