The Assistant Account Manager (AAM) supports the management and growth of strategic customer accounts while independently managing a portfolio of smaller, non-key accounts. The role combines direct commercial responsibility with the development of the strategic, analytical, and relationship management capabilities required for a Key Account Manager role. The AAM progressively takes ownership of customer-facing activities, business planning, and commercial execution. This includes independently driving growth and commercial performance within assigned accounts, while supporting strategic key accounts under the guidance of a KAM. The AAM also plays an active role in store visits and in-store execution, working closely with the Marketing team to identify opportunities and improve brand and promotional execution at store level. The expectation is that, through demonstrated performance and continuous development, the AAM will be ready to assume a Key Account Manager position within approximately two years.
