Job summary

Orange Capital Partners (OCP) seeks an Asset Manager based in Amsterdam to oversee a residential real estate portfolio. You will manage financial performance, coordinate with Portfolio Management, Financial Control and Investments to optimise assets and drive investor returns.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in real estate investment management, strong financial modelling and a proactive, structured approach to asset management, with fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in real estate investment management, private equity, investment banking or advisory.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
• Experience with privatisations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property performance against business plans and budgets (rental income, arrears, vacancy, Opex and Capex).
• Analyse financial statements, operating metrics and market trends.
• Drive performance and maximise returns via strategic initiatives.
• Support privatisation processes from splitting buildings to sales execution.
• Oversee capital improvement projects and major renovations.
• Prepare and present business plans, budgets and performance reports at portfolio levels.
• Assist with quarterly investor reports and investor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and ESG policies.
• Support acquisition and disposition activities with underwriting and due diligence.
• Contribute to rolling out innovative processes and digital tools in property management.
• Enhance tenant experience through streamlined operations and proactive improvements.

THE ROLE

As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management and value optimisation of a portfolio of residential assets. You will oversee financial performance and strategic management of our properties, coordinating all activities and all stakeholders to ensure efficient operations to generate best in class performance and drive returns for our investors. Internally you will closely work with other departments such as Portfolio Management, Financial Control, and Investments as well as our operations enhancement team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitor property performance against business plans and budgets (rental income, rent arrears, vacancy, Opex and Capex, etc.)
• Analyse financial statements, operating metrics, and market trends
• Drive performance and maximise returns by executing strategic initiatives
• Support and optimise privatisation process, from legally splitting buildings to executing the sales process
• Oversee capital improvement projects and major renovations
• Prepare and present business plans, budgets, and performance reports at asset and portfolio levels
• Assist with quarterly investor reports and investor enquiries
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company ESG policies
• Support acquisition and disposition activities with underwriting and due diligence
• Contribute to the roll out of innovative processes and digital tools to improve property management efficiency
• Contribute to enhance tenant experience quality through streamlined operations and proactive improvements

THE PROFILE
