The position
As Assembly & Integration Technician at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the assembly and integration of high-tech aerospace hardware in accordance with detailed work instructions, technical requirements, and strict quality standards. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute directly to the successful production and integration of advanced space systems.
This position is ideal for a technically minded professional who enjoys working with precision, has a strong eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Assemble and integrate aerospace hardware according to technical work instructions and quality procedures.
- Perform mechanical assembly activities with a high level of precision and accuracy.
- Work with digital work instructions, production systems, tablets, and other computer-based applications.
- Carry out inspections and ensure that all work meets the required aerospace quality standards.
- Identify, document and report technical deviations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
- Work closely with fellow Assembly & Integration Technicians, engineers and the Team Leader to achieve project milestones.
- Support testing and integration activities where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in accordance with company procedures.
What you bring to the position
- MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an assembly or production environment.
- Experience in the aerospace industry or a comparable high-tech manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience working with digital production systems and/or tablets.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Available 40 hours per week.
- Willing to work fully on-site in Leiden.
