Job summary

agap2 Netherlands is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician to join our Leiden team and work on high-tech aerospace hardware. You will assemble and integrate hardware according to detailed work instructions, collaborating with engineers and technicians to meet strict quality standards.

This on-site role requires a technical background and at least two years in production, with Dutch and English proficiency.

Qualifications

  • MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an assembly or production environment.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry or a comparable high-tech manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Available 40 hours per week.
  • Willing to work fully on-site in Leiden.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate aerospace hardware according to technical work instructions and quality procedures.
  • Perform mechanical assembly activities with a high level of precision and accuracy.
  • Work with digital work instructions, production systems, tablets, and other computer-based applications.
  • Carry out inspections and ensure that all work meets the required aerospace quality standards.
  • Identify, document and report technical deviations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
  • Work closely with fellow Assembly & Integration Technicians, engineers and the Team Leader to achieve project milestones.
  • Support testing and integration activities where required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in accordance with company procedures.

The position

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the assembly and integration of high-tech aerospace hardware in accordance with detailed work instructions, technical requirements, and strict quality standards. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute directly to the successful production and integration of advanced space systems.

What you bring to the position
