Job summary

McFly & Brown is seeking an AI Technician (Assembly & Integration) to join its space hardware program in Leiden. You will assemble and integrate mission-critical components for satellite and launcher programs in an international, high-tech environment.

The role requires an MBO/HBO in mechanical engineering or related field, at least two years of assembly experience, strict adherence to quality procedures, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

  • MBO/HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • At least two years of experience in a mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working according to strict quality procedures and technical work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, a hands-on mindset, and a proactive attitude.
  • Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • You must currently live and be legally eligible to work in the Netherlands.
  • Preferred: Experience in space/aerospace/defence/high-tech regulated industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate mechanical space hardware to high quality standards.
  • Work with digital work instructions and production registration systems.
  • Perform accurate self-inspections to ensure products meet quality requirements.
  • Identify, document, and report technical deviations according to procedures.
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, quality specialists, and project teams to deliver on schedule.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate mechanical space hardware following technical work instructions and quality procedures.

Your Profile
