Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands in Leiden seeks an AI Technician (Assembly & Integration) to assemble and integrate aerospace hardware following detailed procedures. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality production and compliance with standards.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow digital work instructions. Start date around Oct/Nov 2026 with a 1-year term and extension possible.

Qualifications

• MBO degree in a technical field required and at least 2 years in assembly/production.
• Experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing is preferred.
• Hands-on, accurate and able to follow strict procedures.
• Proficient with tablets and digital work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate aerospace hardware per work instructions.
• Perform precise mechanical assembly with quality control.
• Use tablets and digital production systems for tasks.
• Carry out inspections to meet aerospace quality standards.
• Identify deviations and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers and team leader to meet milestones.
