Job summary

McFly & Brown is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to lightweight space structures in a globally operating team. You will analyze and verify complex designs, perform FEMAP/NASTRAN analyses, and help drive testing and qualification campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • At least 3 years of experience with finite element analysis, including FEMAP and NASTRAN.
  • Experience with ABAQUS and knowledge of linear and nonlinear mechanics.
  • Excellent command of the English language and currently residing in the Netherlands.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of ECSS, NASM or ASTM standards, Python, VBA, CATIA, AI, machine learning or SOL 400.

Introduction

Would you like to contribute to technology that literally reaches space? We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join an internationally operating organisation within the space industry, working on innovative lightweight structures for European launch systems. You will become part of a multidisciplinary engineering team where analysis, design and verification come together. In this role, you will work on technically challenging projects that have a direct impact on the next generation of space programmes.

Your Responsibilities

Your Profile
