ROLE: ASIC SoC Project Manager
LOCATION: Netherlands (Hybrid)
Job Description
As an IC Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex SoC or ASIC semiconductor projects covering the complete Product Development Cycle from Specifications to Silicon, ensuring seamless coordination across globally distributed teams.
With a strong understanding of the IC design processes, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact projects in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Align on Project definition between Systems Engineering, Execution Teams and Marketing,
- Project planning
- Organize and lead regular project status meetings, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Drive the SoC Engineering CCB, Engineering reviews and Milestones reviews,
- Generate and distribute regular reports, including management and customer updates,
- Risk register, review and management,
- Drive decision-making processes to keep initiatives on track.
- Maintain and track project progress, highlighting deviations from the initial plan,
- Drive clear decision-making processes, ensuring proper stakeholder management and documentation.
- Work with third-party service providers
Requirements
- Over 10 years’ experience working in SoC or ASIC is a must
- Experience integrating Analog, Mixed-Signal and/or RF would be a clear plus
- Over 5 years’ experience leading SoC cross-functional teams RTL, DV, PD, DFX and Silicon Validation
- Deep understanding of the chip design processes from specifications to silicon.
- Deep understanding of SoC/ASIC design methodologies and flows
- Proven ability to work with geographically distributed teams across different countries.
- Experience in SoC/ASIC Bring-Up/Power-On and Silicon Validation planning, tracking, and reporting
- . Well organized and structured: building plans with ASIC R&D teams, plans tracking, prioritizations, escalations
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to provide clear and concise program updates.
- Experience working with third-party service providers and external contract resources.
- Very good time management
- Experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
