Anton Paar Netherlands seeks an Area Product Manager for Spectroscopy & Analytical Chemistry to drive market success for our innovative instrument portfolio. You will work with customers, sales, and international product specialists to translate requirements into tailored measurement solutions.

The role blends technical expertise with commercial strategy, requiring travel across the Netherlands and occasional training at our Austria headquarters.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry, physics or related discipline.
• At least two years of experience selling Analytical Instrumentation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Netherlands and occasionally to Austria for training and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customers and generate new accounts through prospecting and lead follow-up across industries.
• Effective territory management across a broad base of industries and applications.
• Translate customer process requirements into tailored measurement solutions.
• Direct responsibility for sales negotiations and handling sales projects.
• Support development of customer applications.
• Participation at conferences and exhibitions.
• Support the development of marketing communications with customers.
• Visit customer sites regularly to present, demonstrate instruments, install, and train customers.

Responsibilities:

• Management of existing customers and generation of new accounts through prospecting, lead generation and follow up in different industries
• Effective territory management in a broad base of industries and applications.
• Translate customer process requirements into tailored measurement solutions
• Direct responsibility for sales negotiations and handling of sales projects.
• Support the development of customer applications.

• Visiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations, installations and train customers on the correct use of their equipment.

Your profile:

• Suitable candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, physics or related discipline.
• At least two years of experience of successfully selling Analytical Instrumentation. Comparable instrument sales experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Project managers, plant managers and technicians.
• Team player
• Availability to travel throughout Netherlands and occasionally to our Headquarters in Austria for training and business meetings.
• Located in the middle of the Netherlands within easy access to main road network.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) is required; additional language skills are a plus.
