Job summary

Zachary Daniels is recruiting for an Area Manager on behalf of a leading international outdoor and lifestyle brand. You will oversee a portfolio of stores across The Netherlands with plans to expand across key European locations, driving strong commercial results and delivering superb customer experiences.

As Area Manager you will coach Store Managers, ensure brand standards, lead talent development and plan store performance across your region, including remote management and new store

Zachary Daniels is delighted to be recruiting for an Area Manager on behalf of a leading International outdoor and lifestyle brand, overseeing a portfolio of stores across The Netherlands, with exciting plans to expand the retail footprint across key European locations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Manager, Cluster Manager or high-performing Multi-Site Manager who is passionate about the outdoors, active lifestyles and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Whether your passion or retail experience is related to trail running, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, camping or simply enjoying the great outdoors, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand that inspires customers to get outside and explore.

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance across your region, developing high-performing store teams and ensuring a consistent brand experience across every location. You will work closely with Store Managers to maximise sales, profitability and operational excellence, while creating a customer-first culture built around expert advice, product knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for the outdoor lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities as our new Area Manager:

• Take full ownership of the commercial performance of a portfolio of stores across your region.
• Drive sales, profit, conversion, average transaction value and other key retail KPIs through strong commercial leadership.
• Coach, develop and inspire Store Managers to build high-performing teams and deliver business objectives.
• Create a culture of exceptional customer service, expert product knowledge and genuine customer engagement.
• Ensure stores consistently deliver the brand's values, standards and customer experience.
• Lead talent development, succession planning and recruitment across your area, building a strong pipeline of future retail leaders.
• Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews and business planning meetings to drive accountability and results.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, customer experience and operational performance across the region.
• Ensure strong visual merchandising and product presentation, reflecting seasonal activity and commercial priorities.
• Ensure operational compliance across all stores, including health & safety, cash management, loss prevention and company procedures.
