Job summary

ZEISS Benelux in Breda is seeking an Application Engineer who will be the technical representative for ZEISS 3D measuring machines and related software across the Benelux region. You will perform measurements, programming, training, and customer support at the Quality Excellence Center in Breda, collaborating with a small team.

The role requires a technical degree, CAD/metrology affinity, and fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Affinity with CAD applications, mechanical engineering, or metrology.
Customer-oriented and communicative approach.
Ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Dutch and English.
French language skills are an additional advantage.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting and provide software support to existing customers.
Deliver software training to customers.
Provide technical support to Sales Engineers during the sales process through customer demonstrations.
Perform measurement and programming assignments at the Quality Excellence Center in Breda.
Analyze measurement requirements, prepare price calculations, and consult with customers.
Actively generate prospects for measurement assignments within the Quality Excellence Center in Breda.
Participate in trade fairs, seminars, webinars, and product presentations.
