APAC Export Sales Leader — Build Markets from Scratch

Job summary

Zovea Animal Health seeks a Regional Sales Manager Asia Pacific to build the market from scratch, hunt opportunities, and hand off when established. This field-based role requires frequent travel and end-to-end deal ownership.

You will own sourcing, pricing, negotiation, compliance, and closing, while collaborating with sourcing, leadership, and marketing to shape the export strategy and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years in international B2B trading, export sales, or business development.
• Track record of opening markets or accounts from scratch.
• Experience working in/having a portfolio with the Asia Pacific region.
• A self-starter who doesn't require daily management.
• Background in animal health, pharma, food, or agri is a plus.
• Fluent English; local Asia Pacific language is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and open new markets in the Asia Pacific region.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of new export accounts from cold outreach to first trade.
• Manage full deal cycles independently: sourcing, pricing, negotiation, compliance, and closing.
• Develop market intelligence on regulations, pricing dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer structure per target country.
• Collaborate with sourcing to ensure supply availability and pricing for export markets.
• Represent Zovea Animal Health at international trade fairs and events.
• Maintain a structured account and pipeline overview in CRM.
• Feed market intelligence back into the commercial team and trade marketing.
• Contribute to the export business plan: country prioritization, revenue targets, GTM approach.
• Willing to travel frequently; this role lives in the field.
