Job summary

FOUR PAWS in the Netherlands (Nijeberkoop) is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to join our team. You will perform routine inspections of enclosures, buildings, and grounds, carry out preventative maintenance, assist with pools and water systems, and help construct enrichment platforms.

We value hands-on experience in construction or engineering, Dutch as mother tongue, basic IT skills, and a valid Category B license.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical work, preferably carpentry, construction and installation

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of animal enclosures, buildings, technical installations, and grounds
• Carry out preventative maintenance and repair work
• Assist with maintenance of animal pools and water systems
• Support construction and repair of animal platforms and enrichment items
• Maintain sanctuary grounds through mowing, weeding and general landscaping
• Keep maintenance records and inspection logs up to date
