Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Sales Engineer Airports to shape logistics systems for baggage handling at airports worldwide. You will work with Sales Managers and engineers to translate customer needs into clear, competitive proposals and manage bid activities through to contract award.

You will engage with layout, OT, IT, service and procurement stakeholders, ensure timely reviews, and build strong relationships with customers. English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial, mechanical, logistics or related technical discipline.
• Experience in Sales Engineering, solution engineering or systems engineering with customer-facing exposure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to connect complex systems with stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and compare integrated solution concepts considering performance, availability and lifecycle value.
• Shape opportunity strategies with the Sales Manager and translate into technical and commercial approaches.
• Coordinate Sales Engineering activities from qualification to proposal submission and contract award.
