Vanderlande is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Veghel to drive electrical design for XXL Airport projects. You will shape power distribution, hardware architecture, and deliver standardized engineering files within a platform-based approach.

In this role you will help mature EPLAN eBUILD/ProPanel, participate in platform releases, and collaborate with SMEs to ensure training and documentation readiness for successful product introduction. A strong, process-driven mindset is essential.

Within Development Centre Airports Solutions, we have a position available for a Senior Electrical Engineer in the platform development team for XXL Airport projects. We offer the opportunity to work in an inspiring and challenging environment.

Your department

The platform development team is a knowledgeable, multidisciplinary team of product managers, development engineers and deployment engineers. Together, we develop the mechatronics and controls solutions that Airports needs for the future. We provide product development and deployment expertise for total solutions and conveying streams, with a strong focus on continuous learning and improvement.

Your position

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the electrical design of our Airports projects, from power distribution and hardware architecture to the production of electrical system library, design and deployment files.

Vanderlande works with a platform-based approach: a solid set of standards linked to our engineering processes. Every three months, you will help introduce updates to these standards into our global organization through platform releases from our Technology department. For major new developments, you will work with subject matter experts to prepare organizational readiness and ensure that the required training and documentation are available for successful product introduction.

Together with your colleagues, you will also participate in continuous improvement projects linked to our improvement strategy and program.

A key part of your role will be to further professionalize our EPLAN Automated Engineering landscape. You will use and help mature EPLAN eBUILD and ProPanel to enable standardized, automated and reproducible engineering deliverables, reduce manual effort, and improve quality and consistency for our internal customers.

What we offer?

You will receive a salary between €5.590,- and €6.211,- gross per month, depending on your experience. On top of this you will receive holiday allowance and your shift allowance.

In addition to your salary, you will receive:

• With 20 statutory vacation days + a flexible budget worth 20 vacation days. You will have the possibility to use thia flex budget to buy more vacation days or to be used as additional salary.

Your profile

You have successfully completed education at Bachelor level, preferably in Electrical Engineering, and bring the following experience and qualities:

• At least five years of experience in an industrial work environment.
• A good command of English is required; Dutch is preferred.
• Knowledge of power distribution systems.
• Knowledge of hardware architectures and industrial networks.
• Strong knowledge of EPLAN is required. Hands‑on experience with EPLAN eBUILD and ProPanel is strongly preferred; experience with Cogineer or comparable automated engineering functionality is an advantage.
• You are a process-driven team player who is eager to learn.
• You are able to balance your workload between proactive and reactive activities.
