Job summary

Bluewave - Expeditors is seeking an Air Export Agent to ensure international air freight shipments reach their destination smoothly and on time. You will coordinate the export process end-to-end and serve as a key contact for our customers.

Daily you'll arrange bookings with airlines, update customers on shipment status, and tackle schedule changes. The role blends customer service with planning, coordination and problem-solving across global carriers and offices.

The Role

As an Air Export Agent, you make sure international air freight shipments reach their destination smoothly and on time. You coordinate the export process from start to finish and act as an important point of contact for our customers.One moment you are arranging a new booking with an airline, the next you are updating a customer on the status of their shipment, and later you may be solving an unexpected change in the schedule. It is exactly this combination of customer service, logistics and coordination that makes the role so varied.As an Air Export Agent, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the complete export process for international air freight shipments;
• Maintaining daily contact with customers and proactively keeping them informed about their shipments;
• Booking shipments with different airlines;
• Communicating with airlines, carriers and Expeditors offices around the world;
• Preparing and checking transport and customs documentation;
• Monitoring shipments and making sure deadlines are met;
• Responding quickly to delays, changes and other logistical challenges;
• Accurately processing invoices, transport documents and other administrative tasks.

This is certainly not a role where you will spend your entire day doing administration. As an Air Export Agent, you combine customer service with planning, coordination and solving logistical challenges.
